Art Around the World
This week long camp encourages creativity and development of art skills through a wide range of media and fun projects while exploring and appreciating various cultures and art from all around the world. The goal is to see each participant stretch to a new level of proficiency and confidence without even feeling the burn!

Dance (Beginner & Intermediate)
This week long dance camp will provide both beginners and intermediates with an encouraging environment to develop skills in dance. The students will be introduced through fun exercises and group interaction to ballet, modern dance, African dance, and the dance elements (the basic building blocks of dance).

Drama Camps
This is your chance to grow as a performer and learn valuable skills. The campers practice all week with acting coaches and their fellow cast for the final performance. An intensive week will leave each camper knowing the fun, enjoyment, and challenge of being a dramatic actor and stretching their dramatic selves.

Photography
Learn techniques from an experienced photographer while exploring God's creation through the camera lens. Perfect ways to capture the most mesmerizing photos by understanding lighting, shadows, colors, and contrast. Digital camera recommended.

Sports
Experience a week of personal fitness, sportsmanship, conditioning and training in sports, with emphasis in leadership, character, and excellence.

Adventure & 80 A.D.
A week full of adventure! This camp offers each child fun-filled, exciting experiences at the Museum of Life and Science, UNC Morehead Observatory, Emerald Pointe, IMAX Theater at Exploris, Wrightsville Beach, and the Duke Lemur Center. All week we will develop and create on the go leadership, problem solving, character, excitement, and excellence. (Adventure Camp and 80 A.D. Camp are 2 camps in 1!) You will be transported to the year 80 A.D. when the Roman Empire is flourishing and the followers of "The Way" are being persecuted. Campers will explore the history and relevance of the Book of Acts while engaging in hands on activities to make these events come to life!

Spanish Immersion
Sing, learn, play, and have fun learning Spanish. Learn Spanish, have fun, and learn more about Jesus in a healthy, risk-free fun environment. Spanish Camp is 8:30am – 1:30pm. Every camper must bring their own lunch and snack.

These sessions are available every week of camp, 2 hours before camp starts and 2 hours after camp ends, to accommodate busy families.

Instructors Bios:

Susy Holloway is a practicing local artist and art instructor.  During the school year she teaches a wide variety of ages at Deerstream Learning Center, Providence School, Grace School of the Arts, and in private art lessons. This year she has taken part in several  shows in the area, displaying both 2-D and   3-D pieces.  Susy presently has two works on display at Meredith College.

Mary Jane Ferris has taught and coached for 30 years after earning a B.S. from Michigan State in Physical Education.  She currently teaches fundamental skills in both recreational and competitive sports while competing regularly in triathlons. In high school and college, she was a three sport threat, playing basketball, volleyball, and track.

Kimberly Holloway has loved dance since she began dancing at the age of three. She has taught dance camp for years and loves working with children. Currently, she is pursuing a B.F.A. in Dance at Belhaven College, which boasts a nationally accredited dance department.  Her original choreography is performed at the college level.

Freya Wilk is an international photographer, using her skills around the world, all the way from Azerbaijan to South America.  She has earned a B.A. at St. John's College and has taught photography camps in Minnesota, Maryland, New Hampshire, and for a youth rehabilitation program.
